Agustin Parise (LSU L.L.M. ’06) & Julieta Marotta (LSU L.L.M. ’07)

A co-production of the International Law Society & Center of Civil law studies

Both presenters have studied and worked internationally. They have a wealth of experience and insight on how to pursue a global career, and what to expect if you do. They are both involved in the Journal of Civil Law Studies; Agustin Parise is executive editor, and Julieta Marotta was recently appointed as an Argentine Reporter for the Journal.

Dr. Agustin Parise‘s research interests fall in the areas of Legal History and Comparative Law. He has taught, lectured, and/or published in multiple countries across Europe, North and South America and parts of Asia.

Julieta Marotta‘s research and practical interests fall in the area of Law and Development, more precisely on innovative forms of access to justice and legal empowerment. She taught and presented at seminars in Argentina, England, the Netherlands, and the United States.
