TWO Requests for Proposal-Speak Out for Justice! Focus on Civil Legal Aid
Speak Out for Justice! Focus on Civil Legal Aid is a project of the Louisiana Bar Foundation’s (LBF) Education Committee. The purpose of this program is to support the LBF’s educational goals by increasing the understanding of the vital need for civil legal aid services for those who cannot afford them, as well as the need to measure the effectiveness of ongoing programs. The LBF plans to engage multiple content creators for this project.
The LBF is seeking proposals from qualified individuals for two separate focus areas.
- PUBLIC AWARENESS-partner with content authors to produce short articles, podcasts, videos, commercials, and other content that are current and relevant to the topic of civil legal aid. This project should reflect the creativity of the applicant, so there is no set media type that is preferred, as long as the proposal reflects the parameters of the Speak Out for Justice! - RESEARCH-partner with the academic community and other like-minded individuals who are interested in studying these important issues and proposing solutions to the problems, so the limited resources available can best be put to use. The LBF seeks to partner with content creators to produce short articles, studies, analyses, and other content that are current and relevant to the topic of civil legal aid and how best to make it available to the vulnerable population that needs it. Each selected contributor will receive a $500 – $2,500 honorarium, depending on content.
