Interested in administrative law or work with the Governor? Attend the Careers in Government panel to learn more! Careers Services Office is pleased to host a panel on Careers in Government, which will have representatives from different areas in government here to discuss how they got started in their government careers. Your JD will make you eligible for hundreds of jobs in government in Louisiana and thousands more beyond. Attend the panel and learn more!

Panelists include:

  • Sabra Matheny is the Director of the Division of Administrative Law.  Director Matheny began her career as an ADA in Tangipahoa Parish and served as an Assistant AG for the United States Virgin Islands’ DOJ.  The DAL provides a neutral forum for resolving administrative disputes.
  • Antonio Ferachi is the Director of the Litigation Division of the LA Department of Revenue.  Before becoming director, he served the agency as a senior tax, appellate and business litigation attorney.  He is a Board Certified Tax Law Specialist and is a frequent speaker on tax matters.
  • Jacquelyn Watts is an Attorney with the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness (GOHSEP).  This office is responsible for coordinating the state’s efforts throughout the emergency management cycle.
