Living in Lyon

Even though Lyon is the third largest city in France, students will easily become familiar and comfortable in the city. Lyon is clean and welcoming, and the efficient public transportation system makes getting around very manageable.

Lyon provides students with plenty to see and do outside of school. The city’s diverse neighborhoods are dotted with monuments and buildings ranging from ancient Roman ruins to Renaissance churches to modern skyscrapers.

There are also vivid cultural events and a very active nightlife in the city for students to take part in during the summer. Lyon is located in the heart of the Rhône valley, a region known for the quality of its wine and its traditional cuisine.
