When travelers think of France and cuisine, they often think of Paris. However, Lyon’s culinary tradition has achieved more recognition than even France’s capital. The fame goes back in large part to Chef Paul Bocuse. Anthony Bourdain, an American chef and television personality, sat down with Bocuse, to discuss Lyon’s famous dishes. Also, Bourdain, on his CNN show, Parts Unknown, travelled to Lyon to experience the history and culture behind the city’s cuisine. Check out his blog post about the show where you can find some clips from the Lyon episode. The full episode, which is Season 3, Episode 3, of Parts Unknown, can be found on Netflix. Bon appétit!
