BLSA Members Profile…Kenneth Barnes
Kenneth R. Barnes, Jr. is currently a first year law student at LSU Law. He is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he attended Central High School. He received his undergraduate education at Louisiana State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While an undergraduate student Kenneth served as LSU Student Government Senator, President of LSU NAACP chapter, and Louisiana Assistant District Director of Louisiana Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. In his first year of law school Kenneth was elected as the 1L Class President for the LSU Law class of 2015 and is a member of LSU BLSA. Kenneth has been selected as the McGlinchey Stafford PLLC ‘s 1L Diversity Fellow of 2013 and will be their representative at the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’ Scholar Retreat in Denver, Colorado.
