And the gold medal goes to…

Today, the eyes of the culinary world are on Lyon. The second largest city in France will host the finale of the 30th Annual Bocuse d’Or, an international cooking competition between the world’s best chefs. The competition is known as the Olympics for foodies, with one country taking gold, silver, and bronze. Each of the chefs have 5 hours and 35 minutes to prepare a recipe. Additionally, this year the participants will work with “Bresse chicken and shellfish” a take on a classic Lyon recipe. Check out the website for more information about the competition and follow to see who takes home the grand prize!

Food is an essential part of any experience in Lyon. As you get ready to embrace your summer abroad, think of all the places you want to go and new experiences you want to have.
